Early Life
Molly Bloom was born on April 21, 1978, in Loveland, Colorado. The second child of Charles J. Bloom, a physician, and Charline Bloom, she has an older brother, Jeremy. When Molly was six years old, her family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a degree in political science.
Mollys father was a competitive skier who encouraged his children to ski. Molly took to the sport quickly and began competing at a young age. She was an accomplished skier and even considered qualifying for the Olympics. However, a skiing accident put an end to her competitive career.
While she was attending the University of Pennsylvania, Molly began working as a cocktail waitress. It was through this job that she met Dean Gordon, who would later introduce her to the world of high-stakes poker games.
Molly Blooms net worth is an impressive $4 million, but her story is even more fascinating.
Skimming Schemes
Skimming Schemes
Molly Bloom was involved in a Hollywood "skimming" scheme, in which she and her partner would take a percentage of the money that actors and actresses were being paid for their work on a movie. The scheme was uncovered by the FBI, and Molly was arrested and charged with a number of crimes. She eventually served a prison sentence and was released in 2016.
She published the whole story in one post on her Instagram profile
Потврђени налог A Decade in review.. In 2010, I made more money than I could ever dream of and in 2011 the feds seized it all, every last cent. I went to rehab and moved back in with my mom. In 2012, I wrote a book proposal and I got rejected by every single publisher. In 2013, I got a book deal at Harper Collins and then, I got arrested at gunpoint by 17 FBI agents, and I was facing years in prison. In 2014, I became a convicted felon, among other things I can never vote again. In 2015, I pitched my story to the great Aaron Sorkin. In 2016, I did 200 hours of community service and worked with Aaron on the movie. In 2017, I went to rehab for the second time, and this time I really got sober. In 2018, Molly’s Game premiered and was nominated for an Oscar. I started my speaking career, I got to give CSU’s commencement and travel the world sharing a message of hope and redemption. In 2019, I lost my sweet Gram and the love of my life, my soulmate, my Lucy 🐶, but then in September, I married my human soulmate, @deffinger. Here is what I learned from this decade. We keep going, no matter what. We keep going when it seems impossible, unthinkable and hopeless. I learned to own my life, to take full, fearless responsibility for it all, I learned that a sincere sorry goes a long way, I learned to meditate, because a disciplined healthy mind can transcend almost any circumstance, I learned to not be so selfish and solitary- living organisms need to relate to their environment, we relate or die inside. I learned to ask for help, I did none of this on my own, I was lifted up by heroes and angels. I learned to forgive, fully and I learned that I am so much more powerful then I ever imagined and I learned so are you. Here’s to the great adventure of life, and to a slightly less eventful decade 🤪#2020

Dear Fiona, The road to get to you was not easy. I had doctors tell me it was time to give up, or to make other plans, but you were my plan, and so I didn’t give up. Time marched on and I watched my friends, and family start their families; those were some of the darkest days of my life. And, then finally, a tiny little heartbeat. It was nine months of holding my breath, praying you would stay, and then, at 6:59 am on February 8th you came into this world. They put all five pounds of you into my arms and you looked into my eyes, so curiously and so sweetly and I was changed, completely and irrevocably. I have never felt anything that big, that beautiful or that complete. I have been seeking this wholeness for as long as I can remember, and nothing, not success, relationships, notoriety, or the darker forces produced it, but you did. I knew in that moment and the moments that followed that everything I do is for you, that it will never be just me anymore, that I had found the thing I was looking for, it was always you. It’s been just over a month now my baby girl, and you have given me life, and to that life, profound meaning. Thank you for being so fierce, defying so many odds, and choosing me.
