Let’s be honest: Canada has the best auto workers in the world. They’re leading on clean energy and technology, they’re attracting historic investments in the electric vehicle supply chain, and they’re helping us meet the growing demand for hybrid and electric vehicles. We’re going to keep having their backs.

We’re going to make North American supply chains even stronger, we’re going to stay focused on creating good jobs, and we’re going to make sure that, when automakers around the world want to manufacture electric vehicles, they know Canada is the best place to do it.

We’ve already made investments to support and modernize plants in places like Brampton, Alliston, Ingersoll, Oshawa, and Oakville, securing thousands of good jobs in the process. And we’ll continue to do everything we can to support workers and their families, and to help keep air our clean.
